The trial
Section titled “The trial”The 30-day trial starts the first time you open the extension. Nothing is locked during the trial or after it. A yellow Pywr licence inactive item in the status bar counts the days left, and turns red when the trial ends. Click it, or run Pywr: Manage licence, to choose what to do next.
Buy a licence by card
Section titled “Buy a licence by card”-
Click the Pywr licence item in the status bar and choose Buy a licence. Stripe Checkout opens in your browser.
-
Choose the number of users and pay. The licence lasts one year and renews automatically.
-
Copy the licence key from the thank-you page. Keep it: we do not email it to you.
-
Click the status bar item again, choose Enter licence key and paste the key. The status bar item goes away.
Give the key to the other users of the licence. Each of them enters it and takes one seat. A seat follows the user across the computers where they sign in to VS Code with Settings Sync, and is freed when its user has not opened VS Code for 30 days.
Move a seat to another user
Section titled “Move a seat to another user”A seat is freed by itself 30 days after its user last opened VS Code. To give it to someone else straight away, the user who leaves runs Pywr: Show licence seat ID, copies the ID and emails it to [email protected]. Once we free that seat, the new user can enter the licence key.
Pay by invoice
Section titled “Pay by invoice”Choose Ask for an invoice in the status bar menu, or email [email protected] with your company, billing address and number of users. We send you the licence key once the invoice is paid.
Non-commercial use
Section titled “Non-commercial use”Choose I use Pywr for non-commercial purposes only in the status bar menu and accept the licence agreement. The status bar item goes away. The extension asks you to confirm again after 12 months.
Change or cancel a licence
Section titled “Change or cancel a licence”To add or remove users, cancel or download your invoices, use the Stripe customer portal, or email [email protected]. If you lose your licence key, email us from the address you bought it with.
